Lawton’s Obituary Lawton Edward Webb, age 92, of Fouke, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 22, 2019, in a local hospice facility. Mr. Webb was born October 4, 1926, in Bronte, Texas. He was retired from the United States Air Force, and was a proud veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, a deacon and member of Fouke First Baptist Church and was also a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Webb and two brothers, A.D. Webb and James Webb and one great-grandchild, Johnathan Taylor. Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Jerry) Blocker of Texarkana; three sons, Joe (Teresa) Webb of Fouke, Arkansas, Lawton (Vicki) Webb, Jr. of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Dale Webb of Fouke; two brothers, Kenneth Webb of Austin, Texas and John Webb of Proctor, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tracey Taylor, Theresa Davis, Thomas Blocker, Travis Blocker, Laura Taylor, Beth Webb, Kyle Webb, and Caitlin Webb; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Bro. Rusty Wallace and Frank McFerrin officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Read More
