Obituary Kimberly (Kim) M. Femino Kimberly Mariea (Jones) Femino, 53, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away in the evening of Saturday, August 31, 2019, at UnityPoint – Allen Hospital as a result of a massive coronary. Kim was born November 13, 1965, the daughter of Eugene D. and Gudrun “Bobbi” (Peters) Jones. She was adopted at the age of two by Marilyn Halley-Tarr. Kim attended Waterloo Community Schools and graduated in 1984 from Central High School in Waterloo. She married N. Johnne Femino in June of 1991 and they were later divorced. Kim will be remembered as a strong, quick-witted and feisty woman who was passionate about the outdoors and an avid rock collector. Kim is survived by her biological mother, Gudrun “Bobbi” Gans of Plainfield, Illinois; her adoptive mother, Marilyn Halley-Tarr of Waterloo; her daughter, Bailey Dutcher of Ames, Iowa; a brother, Richard E. (Sandi) Jones of Troy, Montana; a half-brother, Eric (Nicole) Gans of Plainfield, Illinois; a half-sister, Stephanie Kenny of Minooka, Illinois; a nephew, Tyler Jones of Denver, Colorado; and companion, Ray Wilkenson of Waterloo, Iowa. She was blessed with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Kim was preceded in death by her father; her paternal grandparents, Robert E. and Ida Jones; and her maternal grandparents, Leonard and Bethel Swartz. Inurnment will be at a later date at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa. Kim’s family will greet friends to share in celebrating Kim’s life on a future date to be determined.
