Kayla Edith McCone, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Wed., September 18, 2019. She was born in Taunton, MA to Jeanne (O’Donnell) Close and the late Kevin A. McCone. Besides her father Kayla was preceded in death by her brother, James Close, her infant niece Jati’yah Johnson, her aunt Kimberly McCone, and her Grandparents; Henry McCone, Dorothy McMahon & Barry O’Donnell. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jeanne Close, sisters; Danielle Close, Brittany Johnson and Rhiannon Givens, Brothers; Keith Johnson and Nathaniel Simmons. Uncles, Scott McCone, his wife, Paula and Henry McCone. Cousins; Krista McCone, Jasmyn McCone, Kimberly McCone, Samantha McCone, Alexandria McCone, Stephanie Walackas, Paul Malcolm, Sean Pinkstaff, Kelly Estey and Danny Estey and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, at 6:30pm, in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4-6:30pm.
