June W. Grutzmacher Of Arlington Heights June W. Grutzmacher was born July 8, 1926 in Waukegan to William and Alice (nee Hellquist) Walker. She joined the Lord peacefully on September 19, 2019 surrounded by her family, at her home in Arlington Heights. June was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed 30 years of retirement in Florida where she made many dear friends, often referred to as the life of the party. She enjoyed her European travels and numerous cruises. June was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and found great pleasure surrounding herself with her family. June is survived by her husband Richard Grutzmacher Sr.; her children Rich (Diane) Grutzmacher Jr. and Judy Grutzmacher; her grandchildren Kate (Andy Fox) Grutzmacher and Preston (Mattie) Grutzmacher; her great grandchildren Jackson, Ava, Codi, Cash, Hunter, Stella and by her many dear nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings William (late Billie) Walker, George (late Glenna) Walker, Marge (late Everett) Lucas, Oliver (late Laura) Walker, Edward (late Jean) Walker, Ronald Walker and by her parents. Visitation Monday, September 23, 2019 from 9:30 AM until the time of funeral service at 10:30 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Susan G.
