Obituary of Julia D. King Mrs. Julia D. King, 72 years old, of Gloversville, passed away Sunday September 15, 2019 at her own home in Gloversville. She was born April 7, 1947 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Harold and Julia Frye Forgette, Sr,. She was known for being a longtime babysitter for many friends and family members. She enjoyed to knit and embroider various items, and also enjoyed to watch John Wayne movies. Julia was of the Christian faith. Julia is survived by her four siblings; Harold Forgette, Jr., Vaida McGuire (John), JoAnn Capice (Kevin), James M. Forgette, 3 nieces; Yvonne Forgette, Monique Forgette and Carolyn McGuire, 3 nephews; Herald Forgette III, John McQuire II and Timmy McGuire, along with several extended family members and friends. In addition to both of her parents, Julia was predeceased by her sister Evelyn Forgette. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Thursday September 19, 2019 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. A graveside funeral service will take place at 11:00AM on Friday September 20, 2019, at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Pine West Plaza, Albany, NY 12205. Arrangements are entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home.
