Obituary for Judy Ann Newman Judy Ann Anglin Newman, age 76 of Franklin, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Judy was born in Williamson Co., TN on July 11, 1943, daughter to the late Charles & Fannie Anglin. She was born at home and raised on South Harpeth Road, graduated from West H.S in Fairview, TN and attended one year at Peabody College. She worked for Berry & Berry as a Legal aide, she enjoyed helping others, her family and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her son, Wendell Newman, Jr.; siblings, Elese, Curtis, Dillion & Alton Anglin. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wendell Newman; daughter, Melanie Ann (Keith) Poynor of Thompson’s Station; sisters, Elizabeth Sutherland of Pegram, TN, June A. Hunter of Dickson, TN, Janice Martin of Franklin, TN & Sharon Potts of Santa Fe, TN; grandchildren, Justin (Robin) Poynor & Taylor Poynor; great grandchildren, Abby, Raelynn, Bentley & Baylee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Taylor officiating.
