Obituary of Joseph Kolb Kolb, Joseph, age 82 of Wildwood, formerly of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Joey has always summered in the Cape May area, and finally moved here 10 years ago. Formerly of Northeast Philadelphia, Joey graduated from LaSalle High School, and St. Joseph’s University. He also served in the US Navy from 1956-1962 on the USS Warrington. Later in life, he worked as a computer analyst at Unisys Corp, ARA and PepBoys. Beloved husband of Dottie (Gallagher), son of the late Joseph and Anna Kolb, devoted father of Linda O’Donnell, Michael Kolb, and Deborah (John) Kinniry, “Pop” to Casey and Ryan O’Donnell, and Devin and Megan Kinniry, brother to Maryanne (Harold) Clark, James Kolb, Thomas Kolb, and Elzy Kolb (Russ Vines). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Katherine’s of Siena RC Church, 9700 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA, on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11am; friends may call one hour prior to service from 10am-11am. In honor of Joey’s spirit, please, no black attire at his funeral service. An internment at Cape May County Veteran’s Cemetery will be held at a later date.
