He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era and he was a member of the Georgia Tech Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his son, Allan Czarnowsky. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Hall, children, John Hall, Jr. (Brenda) of Jonesboro, Mike (Diane) Czarnowsky of Jackson; grandchildren, Noelle Brucki, Heather Engleman, Matthew Czarnowsky, Brian Czarnowsky and Karlea McCoy and 2 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.
