John Henry Harrell, age 53 of Argyle, TX, died Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, TX. He was born April 25, 1966 in Fordyce, AR. He was a graduate of Rison High School in Rison, AR and Southeast Arkansas Junior College in Pine Bluff, AR. He was an electrician and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Grand Prairie, TX. He loved spending time with family, going to concerts, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. His job with the Union recently allowed him to travel to Virginia, Georgia and Alabama, where he met many friends and coworkers from various states. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Finley Harrell of Pine Bluff, AR, his father, Bilbo Harrell of Rison, AR, two brothers, Willie Harrell of Rison, AR and Ray Harrell of Canton, MS, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Harrell of Morton, MS and Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Francis of Rison, AR. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Ellison Harrell of Argyle, TX; his mother, Mary Lee Harrell of Star City, AR; four sons, Jonathan Harrell (Samantha) of Pine Bluff, AR, Dalton Harrell of Argyle, TX, and Trent Frye and Spencer Frye of Rison, AR; two daughters, Shelby York and Madison York of Argyle, TX; one brother, Joe Harrell (Pam) of Star City, AR; two sisters, Diane Harrell Wingate of Richland, MS and Susie Harrell Anderson of Sheridan, AR; four grandchildren, two nephews, six nieces and several great nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Dalton & Son Funeral Home in Lewisville, TX. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date to be held in Arkansas.
