Joe Wilkison June 03, 1940 – September 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Joe Wilkison age 79, of Clarendon passed away on Sunday September 1, 2019, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart. He was born on June 3, 1940 in Brinkley to the family of Epths and Clara (Adkins) Wilkison. Joe received education at Brinkley High School and graduated with the class of 1958. Throughout the years, he worked at Wagner Electric, Riceland Foods and was a surveyor for the Arkansas Department of Transportation. He was also blessed with the opportunity to be the owner of Wilkison Farms located in Brinkley. On May 19, 1961 he married the lovely Diane Dorman and they shared in the joys of raising three sons, Joel, Wayne, and Kevin. Joe was an active member of the Brinkley First Baptist Church, where he enjoyed being a member of the choir. He was also active in the community and enjoyed coaching baseball. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Epths and Clara Wilkison; brothers, Epths Wilkison Jr. and G.C. Wilkison; sisters, Dona Medford, Margie Kenkel, and Eva Lee Wilkison and one grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Diane Wilkison of Clarendon; three sons, Joel Wilkison and wife, Joy of Brinkley, Wayne Wilkison and wife, Wendy of Wynne, and Kevin Wilkison of Grove, Oklahoma; brother, Donald Wilkison and wife, Donna Faye of Brinkley; sisters, Mary Lou Taylor of Brinkley, and Joan Dorman of Des-Arc, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation, Thursday 6:00 – 8:00 P.M Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley. Services, Friday. First Baptist Church 2:00P.M. with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery both in Brinkley.
