It is with great sadness that we the family of Jesus “Jesse” A. De La Cruz announce his passing. Jesus A. “Jesse” De La Cruz, 56 passed away July 5th 2019 in San Antonio, Tx. He was the spouse of Viola Medelez and shared eight wonderful years together. Jesus “Jesse” was born on March 15th 1963 in Reynosa, Tamp. He was the son of Salomon & Maria De La Cruz. In 1982, He graduated from PSJA High School. On 1983 he married Ismelda “Melly” Villarreal who later welcome three children who were the apple of his eyes. He was employed with IDEA Public School as a Bus Driver. He enjoyed traveling, cooking out and spending time with family. He will be remembered for his generosity and big heart. He is one that would light up the room with his smile and funny jokes. He is survived by his parents, Salomon & Maria; Wife, Melly; Children, Jesus Jr., Liza, Jennie; Grandchild, Jesse James; Spouse, Viola; Stepchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Jorge, Edelmiro, Aylene; Step grandchildren, Jessie Jr., Savannah, Diegah, Delylah, Darlene; Siblings, Juan, Adelina, Maria, Martha, Clementina, Gerardo, Minerva; Pets, Snickers and Canela. He will be sadly missed by family and many friends. The funeral services will be held on Wed., July 10th – Fri., July 12th at Hernandez Funeral Home in La Joya, Tx. The viewing will be held from 11am – 9pm. Jesse will be laid to rest at 3pm, Fri., July 12th at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pharr, Tx Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
