Jay Wesley Fritz, age 40, of Bristol, VA went to be with Lord, Monday, September 16, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Bristol. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dewey Fritz. Survivors include his mother, Debbie L. Fritz; son, Philip Jeremiah Fritz; sisters, Tabitha Fritz and Telena Fritz and brothers, Malachi Fritz and Joseph Vanover; two nieces, Tiffany Vanover and Sophia Robinette; nephews including, Trey Vanover, Trevor Vanover, Israel Fritz, Isaiah Fritz, Luke Robinette, Landon Robinette and Alijah Robinette. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. at Gunnings Cemetery. The family will receive friend from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M., Saturday at Akard Funeral Home.
