James Kevin Lederer, 36, of Oakdale-Sayville, LI, died suddenly on Sunday, September 15, 2019, after an epic battle with drug addiction. Raised in Oakdale, James graduated from Connetquot High School and worked for the past several years as a technician with The Cooling Company in Holbrook. James is survived by his fiancé, Kristina Diciero, his parents, George and Mary Lederer of Patchogue, his brother, George and his wife Stephanie of St. James, two nieces, Neve and Nora, as well as his grandfather, James Ryan and his wife Elaine of Bethpage. Friends and relatives will gather on Thursday, September 19th, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 20that St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville. A cremation will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Neighborhood House of Long Island, 132 Clyde Street, Suite 10A, West Sayville, NY 11796, www.tnh-hope.org, are appreciated.
