James Earl Denny May 06, 1925 – September 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card James Earl Denny, age 94, of the Bearwallow community in Ashland City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. His early career was in the automotive industry. This experience led him to his involvement in establishing Nashville Ford Tractor, from where he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents Jeff and Ettie Webb Denny; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 74 years Dorothy Mayo Denny; children Judy (Jorge) Moran, Steve (Judy) Denny, and Terry (Susan) Denny; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother Jerry (Peggy) Denny of Starkville, MS; and sister Marilyn Sowles of Harrison, AR. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 10th from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Wednesday, September 11th from 11 A.M. until the hour of Service at 1 P.M. with Bro. Joe Bogle officiating. Mr. Denny was a member of Bearwallow Church of Christ. Interment will take place in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to Bearwallow Church of Christ.
