James’ Obituary James “Gym” B. Rappold, 71, of North Wales, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Born June 10, 1948 in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Leidy) Rappold. James worked for Merrill Y. Landis, Custom Quality Window Treatments in Telford, PA for 19 years. After leaving Merrill Y. Landis he went onto work in the deli department at Redner’s Market until his retirement in 2015. James was an active member of North Penn Goodwill service for 14 years where he served as chief of the department for numerous years. Gym was also a contributing member of the North Penn Fire Company. Survivors include his son, Kristofor Rappold; grandfather to Karson Rappold; “nephews”, Andy Ruth (Holly), Brian Ruth (Angie), and Keith Reber (Joann); and “nieces”, Michelle Hrycyszyn (Todd) and Natalie Tompkins (Rich). Services are private, a celebration of life will be held at a later date and time. Contributions in Jim’s name can be made to the North Penn Fire Company, 141 S. Main St, North Wales, PA 19454, or the North Penn Goodwill Service, 120 Church St, Souderton, PA 18964. Read More
