Jacquelyn’s Obituary Jacquelyn “Jackie” Brown Peedin, age 83, of Selma, passed away at her home on September 27, 2019. Born in Johnston County on May 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late George Thurman and Lillian Mae Bond Brown. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Billy West Peedin and her daughter, Billie Anita Peedin. She was retired after 43 years from the North Carolina DMV and was a member of Parrish Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She and her husband operated Billy West Peedin Garage for many years. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 3-4 pm. Jackie is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends who loved her dearly. Memorial contributions may be made to Parrish Memorial Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, 606 Parrish Memorial Rd., Selma, NC 27576 or to the Selma Public Library.
