Irene (Amaral) Freitas, 89, of Fall River, wife of the late Maurice C. Freitas, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019. A longtime sewing machine operator, she loved spending time with her family. She leaves three children, Clifford Freitas (wife Dolores) of Swansea, Bradley Freitas (wife Patricia) of Westport and Donna Boutin (husband the late Gerald) of Fall River; seven grandchildren, Jason, Tracy, Kristie and Nathan Freitas, Cherie Andrade, Joshua Boutin and Meghan McAfee; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Viveiros of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Hilda (Andrade) Amaral. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
