(nee: Carlson) Age 92 Of Maplewood Passed away peacefully on Sept. 22, 2019. Preceded in death by husband of 70 years Kenneth, son Gregory and her brothers Ben, Paul, Elmer and Harold. Helen will be greatly missed by loving children Mark, Linda (Allan) Hanzlik, Cynthia (Ralph) Stolp, Sally (Steven) Orne, Rebecca (Jeffry) Krinke, daughter-in-law Eileen (Joel) Sandstrom; grandchildren Jesse, Kenneth, Phillip, Mathew, Todd, Joleen, James, Leana, Peter, Margaret, Benjamin, Andrew and Amanda; 21 great grandchildren. Helen was a first generation American of Swedish immigrant parents. She retained her first language which made her proud of her traditions and heritage. Her numerous self taught talents, too many to list, made her the envy of everyone. Helen together with her beloved husband, were world travelers, lovers of nature and spent endless hours creating unforgettable memories with their family. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am, Monday, September 30th at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 2119 Stillwater Ave. E., St. Paul, with visitation beginning at 10am.
