Sympathies message

  1. I had the honored opportunity to meet Bob in 2014 while visiting old childhood friends I haven’t seen in many year’s. I was welcomed with a hug at the door by Bob when I first arrived , he made me feel like family the moment I entered his family home in ore valley. I shared 4 wonderful days in this time with my old friend’s. I remember driving with Bob to a music shop where we met Elaine and my childhood friend Anita, Elaine and Bob we’re purchasing a new guitar for Anita’s birthday and wanted to surprise her. On our way there Bob and I seen a man that looked as if he didn’t have much holding a sign reading will work for food ,so Bob pulled over as I reached for a 20 to had the man I remember Bob looking over and he handed me a 100 dollar bill to put with my 20 to give this man. I remember thinking to myself how thoughtful Bob was to give so much and why he did give so much with not knowing what this man was going to do with so much money, so I asked Bob do you think he will get food or buy things he needs with that money or will he buy drugs or something bad with it and Bob replied back to me , it’s not our place to judge what he will do we can only hope he will do good with the money but it doesn’t me we stop giving to other’s who are in need. Then he said I’m blessed to just be able to give him something. From that moment on I just felt blessed to know such a caring , non judging soul like Bob who was willing to take a chance on other’s and see the good in other’s. Thank you Bob for that memory that may seem small to others but was so much more to me. You are a true angel of God and again I will say thank you for your friendship in the short time of knowing you, you left such an impression in my own life. Thank you
