Morven, NC Mr. Harold Michael “Mike” Deese, age 61, entered into rest on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2019 at Chesterfield Baptist Church by Pastor Randy Bishop with burial to follow in the Morven Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Monday prior to the service in the parlor of Chesterfield Baptist Church. Mr. Deese was born April 19, 1958 in Wadesboro, NC a son of the late Harold and Ruth Adams Brock Deese. He was a former employee of CMC Building Supply. A member of Morven Baptist Church, Mike also enjoyed attending Chesterfield Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Deese enjoyed riding four-wheelers, playing paintball, and taking a ride in the country listening to music. Mike enjoyed following Auburn Tigers football and supporting the Chesterfield High School softball teams. In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his niece, Amy Odom Bray. Survivors include his son, Michael Brad Deese of Cheraw, SC; daughter, Nina Deese of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Teresa Deese (Freddie) Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC, and Janet Deese (Jamie) Lambert of Florence, SC; half-sister, Cynthia Deese Sorrenti of Rockingham, NC; grandson, Trenton “Trent” Michael Deese of Chesterfield, SC; special friend, Wendy McLeod of Cheraw, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
