Glenn Lee Staggs, 74, of Searcy, ran into the arms of his Saviour on Sunday, September 22, 2019 after overcoming many physical illnesses. He was born August 2, 1945 in Bald Knob a son of the late William “Bud” and Luma Southerland Staggs. Glenn was a retired supervisor with ITT Automotive, but continued his friendships with many of his co-workers and friends. Glenn was loved by all that knew him and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all. Glenn was a member of Valley Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Staggs; son, Keith Staggs (Kelly) of Searcy; brother, Terry Staggs (Margie) of Searcy; sister, Fredda Dunn Love of Searcy; grandchildren, Tori Durham (Austin), Parker Staggs and Keegan Mitchell; great-grandchild, Mia Staggs and another on the way.; his special golden doodle, Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathleen Gordon; brother, Harold Staggs and a son, Zach Mitchell. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valley Baptist Church in Searcy with Bro. James Hays officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
