Funeral services for G.W. White age 84 of Hazel Green will be conducted Saturday at 1 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny Berry officiating and burial will follow at Concord Cemetery. Mr. White passed away Sunday at Hospice Family Care Center in Huntsville. Mr. White was a native of Madison County and worked for over 20 years for the Madison County School System from which he retired, and he loved Alabama Football. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Sue Black. His father, Glover E. White Sr., his mother, Winnie Sue White, two sisters, Martha Laster and Jo Ann Talley and his brother in law, Horton Laster. He is survived by his children, Gary White and Debra Haney, his grandchildren, Gary White Jr., Sandy Banks, Crystal Pendagraph, Tiffany Tunstill, Tommy Burch and Jimmy Haney, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and by his companion and caregiver, Marie Bailey. Visitation will be Friday evening 5-8PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
