Frank Carl Kahre, 55 of Vincennes was called to his eternal home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Frank was born in Vincennes, IN on April 25, 1964 to Frank and Katy Kufner Kahre. Frank was employed by Johnson Controls and then Packaging Corp. for 19 years, following in his grandfather’s footsteps; Frank Kahre who retired in 1965. Frank was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed; mushroom hunting, fishing on the White River, 4-wheeling, and hunting. He was also a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Frank is survived by; his father, Frank J. Kahre; 2 brothers, Dave Kahre (Gayle) of Franklin, IN Stephen Kahre (Kimiko) of Vincennes, IN; a sister Chris McCrary (Scott) of Vincennes, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katy Kahre. There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M.) at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt , Vincennes Chapel with a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John’s Catholic Church conducted by Fr. Simon Natha. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gibault Home for Boys, 6401 S. US 41 Terre Haute, IN 47802.
