Estelle A. Desjean, 89, of Black Rock Road, Coventry, RI, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at home. Born on August 16, 1930, in Central Falls, RI, she was the wife of the late Guy M. Desjean and the daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Camire) Lanoue. Estelle was a braider tender for Dawson Manufacturing, Central Falls, RI, for many years until retiring in 1990. She belonged to East Providence Bowling League and Sunday Sunsets Bowling League. She was also a bowling lane inspector. Estelle is survived by four children; Blanche A. Desjean-Perrotta, Raymond N. Desjean and his wife Kathy, Richard G. Desjean and his wife Mary and Denise E. Fraser and her husband Duncan, a sister; Rita Provencher, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers; Norman Lanoue and Alfred Lanoue. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, September26, 2019, at 7:00 pm in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.
