On September 28, 2019, we were sad to lose Ervan “Buck” Lail, but also glad that our Buckeroo found peace. He leaves behind his wife of 77 years: Rosemary (nee Knose); and 3 daughters: Jean Knollman, Judy (Frank) Linkmeyer, and Debbie McKenzie. He is also survived by his grandchildren who called him “Buck”: Missy (Dan) Diersing, Shelly (Joe) Fette, Scott (Sheila) Knollman, Steve Linkmeyer, Neil (Penny) Knollman, Adam (Rachel) Knollman, and Brant McKenzie; great grandchildren: Alex, Claire, and Cole Diersing, Erica and Michael Knollman, Lindsay and Trent Knollman, Carter, Reese, and Drew Knollman, Evan and Olivia Fette, Sophie and Belle Linkmeyer. He was preceeded in death by his parents: Clarence and Bertha Lail; siblings: Margaret, Richard, Harrel, and Aileen; son-in-laws: Melvin Knollman and Val McKenzie. A Celebration of Life will be held at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, Ohio. on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from 1:30 pm until words of remembrance at 3:15 pm. Memorials may be made, in lieu of flowers and gifts, to Hospice of Cincinnati through the funeral home. You may bring your donation at the time of the visitation and a funeral home representative will be able to assist you, or mail it to the funeral home.
