Obituary for Elbert Dwight Heithcock Elbert Dwight “Dobie” Heithcock, age 74 of Franklin, TN passed away September 29, 2019. Dwight was a retired surveyor with Tennessee Department of Transportation with 42 years of service. He served with the Tennessee National Guard. He was a loving husband, father and devoted grandfather known as “Papa Dwight”. Preceded in death by mother, Gertrude “Trudy” Heithcock. Survived by: wife of 52 years, Patricia Davis “Patsy” Heithcock; sons, Shannon (Rebecca) Heithcock and Andrew “Andy” (Kimberly) Heithcock; father, Elbert Heithcock; sister, Debbie (Bob) Caldwell; grandchildren, Katie, Lauren, Will, Madison and Matthew Heithcock and step granddaughter, Shelby Sterling Segal and niece, Amanda Baskin and other loving family members. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 4-6PM Wednesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Williamson Medical Center Children’s Hospital.
