She was born in Detroit, MI on January 8, 1936 to parents Alvin and Alma (Redmann) Tewell. Elaine married Ardana Chapman in 1957. He preceded her in death in 1997. She married Hubert Walker April 2003 in Marlette, MI. Elaine enjoyed watching TV, talking on the phone, laughing and loved her cats. Elaine is survived by her husband, Hubert Walker; daughters, Doreen Pannett and Mary (Tracy) Dunsmore; daughter-in-law Linda Chapman; grandchildren (second set of children) April (Jayson) McGuire and Roy Kubica; great grandchildren, Dimitrios Marangos, Elliana Marangos and Iris McGuire. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ardana Chapman; parents, Alvin and Alma (Redmann) Tewell and son Richard “Butch” Chapman. The family will receive friends from 3-8 PM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette. A Funeral Service and burial will be held at 12 PM at Christian Memorial-West, 521 E Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 with Pastor Mike Hollenbeck officiating.
