Mrs. Doyce Weaver Hayth, age 85, of Cedartown, GA and formerly of Clearwater, FL passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019. She was born in Buchanan, GA on May 8, 1934 a daughter of the late Jim Weaver and the late Cleo Hobbs Weaver Hutcheson. Mrs. Hayth was a 1950 graduate of Buchanan High School. She had made her home in Clearwater, FL since 1972 before recently moving to Cedartown. She was a member of the Indian Rocks Baptist Church and assisted with the “Prayer Line” of the Christian Television Network in Clearwater, FL. Mrs. Hayth had worked as a contracting specialist with the Civil Service following a twenty seven year career as a federal employee. She also was a volunteer with the Neighborly Senior Services Dining Center providing “Meals On Wheels” in the Largo, FL area. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, C.J. Wells and a son in law, Charles Wells; by two sisters: Ruby Nell Head and Helen Thompson. Survivors include two daughters: Cathy Paulette Hayth and her husband, Yves Dontigny, Rochester, Michigan and Jill Wells, Cedartown. Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:30 pm in Polk Memory Gardens with her daughter, Jill Wells delivering a eulogy. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home. The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory of Rockmart is in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Doyce Weaver Hayth.
