Obituary of Dorothy E. Peters Dorothy E. ( Hastings ) Peters, 93, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on September 23, 2019. She was born in Plymouth Meeting, PA on September 1, 1926. Dorothy has been living in Blue Bell, Pa, formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. She was a 1944 Graduate of Conshohocken High School where she played basketball. Member of Eastern Star. Avid bridge player. Ply-Mar Swim Club. After graduating from high school she initially worked at the Philadelphia Insurance Company, E.J. Lavino, and retired from Colonial School District as a administrative assistant. Daughter of the late – Daniel & Ella (Cory) Hastings. Wife of the late Merrit A. Peters. She is survived by her Son: Merrit A. (& Stephanie) Peters, Jr. of Philadelphia PA, Son: Dennis D. (& Marilyn) Peters of King Of Prussia PA, Son: Dwight R. (& Kathy) Peters of Paradise Valley AR. Also Survived By 4 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Hastings. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 948 Friends may call on Friday Morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Valley Forge Gardens, King of Prussia, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: ACTS Mission Foundation NFS Samaritan Fund, 9000 Twin Silo Drive, Blue Bell, Pa 19422.
