Donald’s Obituary Donald Lee Renner, 87, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Lebanon, MO, passed August 24, 2019 in Bradenton, FL. He was born January 11, 1932 in Lebanon, MO to Homer and Tish Renner, who preceded him in death. After graduating high school in May 1950, he married Anna Juanita (Keeney) Renner in December 1950. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951. In 1971, after completing twenty years of service, he retired with rank of Master Sergeant. He served in Japan, Guam, and several continental USA assignments. After retiring from the USAF, he then became a pastor, something he felt called to since he was 12 years old while attending church camp in Greenfield, MO. He accepted Christ at a tent revival in Lebanon, MO, which he attended with his dad. In 1977, he graduated from Ozark Bible College (n/k/a Ozark Christian College) in Joplin, MO with a Bachelor of Sacred Literature. In 1988, he went on to further his education at Louisville Bible College in Louisville, KY and obtained his Master of Sacred Literature. He was committed to ministry and was a champion of what he believed to be God’s truth. He has now met his Savior. It is the meeting he has been looking forward to for the whole of his life. His wife preceded him in death on December 6, 2013. He is survived by a son, Amos Renner and his wife, Ellen, of Bradenton, FL; a daughter, Marilyn Renner, of Chicago, IL; two brothers, Jim Renner and his wife Evelyn of Lebanon, MO, and Wally Renner (his wife, Pat Renner, deceased) of Owensboro, KY; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Warren and Jimmie Hoffman of Lebanon, MO, and beloved nephews, nieces and many dear friends. Memorial services will be held privately for family in October at White Oak Pond Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, MO. This was his childhood church he and his family started attending around 1942 when he was 11 years old. Internment at White Oak Pond Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
