Donald “Don” Leroy Ward, 80, of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly on September 14,2019. Don was a veteran, having served in the Army from 1958-1964. He enjoyed baseball, collecting cookie jars and antique cars. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Ellen (Rickard) Ward; stillborn son Tony Lee Ward; mother Janet (Williams) Sears; father Leroy Ward; and sister Carol (Williams) Sheard He is survived by his partner Esther Hans of Eaton; daughters Theresa (Ward) Miller of Lumberton, TX and Melissa (Ward) Hoaglan of Hamilton, OH; grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Jacob, Southern, Katherine and Ellen; great grandchildren Gavin, Alahna, Richard and Roxi. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery – 3377 US Rt. 35 – West Alexandria. Arrangements entrusted to Robert L.
