Dennis Prince, 67, of Fergus Falls, died Friday, September 13, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo. He was born March 25, 1952 in Fergus Falls to William and Janet (Brown) Prince. He grew up in the Fergus Falls area and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1971. On November 28, 1971, he was united in marriage to Sandy Phillips at the Federated Church in Fergus Falls. To this union, three children were born, James, Jason and Jeremy. He worked for a mobile home manufacturer in Pelican Rapids before taking a job with Medallion Kitchens in Fergus Falls. He was also employed at Metz Bakery until an injury forced him to retire. Dennis enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening and jewelry making. He especially enjoyed creating treasured memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his wife, Sandy of Fergus Falls; his son, Jason (Marcie) Prince of Dilworth; his mother, Janet Hauge of Erhard; his siblings, Cindy Wegscheid of Pelican Rapids, Kermit (Mona) Hauge of Dent, Richard Hauge of Erhard and Beth (David) Portz of Twin Valley; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Gary (Cindy) Phillips of Fergus Falls and Harry (Kathy) Phillips of Fergus Falls and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Prince, two sons, James and Jeremy, his step-father, Kermit Hauge, Sr. and a brother, Michael Hauge.
