Dale F. Peterson, Sr., 68, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday evening at his home. He was born November 27, 1950 in Menominee to Albert and Fannie Peterson. Dale was a lifelong Marinette resident and graduated from Marinette High School with the Class of 1970. He married the former Linda Swanson on October 15, 1970. Dale enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of overseas service in the Vietnam War. Returning to Marinette he was employed by Keller Cement Contractors, Carpenter Cook in Menominee, the Aerial Co. and later by Waupaca Foundry. Dale enjoyed fishing, boating and always loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle, making trips to Cancun, Jamaica, California and camping with his family in their camper trailer. Dale is survived by his wife, Linda; four children, Krisy (Richard) Oestreich, Jacky (Kevin) Kessel, Lyn Luevanos and Dale Peterson, Jr.; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Peterson; and three sisters, Marlene Taff, Rosie Barlow and his twin, Dawn Kroll. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry; and a sister, Dorothy. Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home from 2 until 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019. A service will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Linda Forray officiating.
