Constance’s Obituary Constance “Connie” (Adams) Halliday Stout, 92 Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother Westminster-Constance “Connie (Adams) Halliday Stout, 92, died peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2019 with her family by her side. Connie was born in Worcester, MA on December 12, 1926 the only child of the late Frank M. and Hazel H. (George) Adams. Her first husband, Frank E. Halliday died in 1990 and her second husband, Franklin J. Stout died in 2008. Connie will be lovingly remembered by her five children and their families, Martha Robertson of Westminster and her children, Haley and Carter; Jody Halliday and her husband, Bill Kowalczyk of Portland and Peaks Island, ME and their children, Peter and Ted; Peter Halliday and his children, Alex, Olivia, and Maddie; Timothy Halliday and his wife, Anne of Rindge, NH and their children, Sadie, Hannah, Aggie, Phoebe, and Timmo; and Jon Halliday of Ashburnham and his children, Kyle, Evan, and Jack. She is also fondly remembered by her 12 great-grandchildren. Connie was a 1944 graduate of North High School in Worcester. She worked as a bank teller for the former Gardner Savings and while her children were in school, she worked as the cafeteria accountant at Oakmont. She spent over 50 years residing in her Main Street home in Westminster and later moved with her husband to the family camp on Lake Watatic in Ashburnham. The last seven years, she resided at the Broadview Assisted Living Facility. Connie was the last member of the KPC of Worcester, an informal sisterhood of strong, supportive women whose friendships spanned eight decades. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Westminster and a member of their Women’s Fellowship. Connie enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and knitting – she made the best afghans. Connie cherished her family above all else; she was the embodiment of unconditional love. Relatives and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Connie’s life by gathering for her funeral service on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11AM in the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 123 Main St. Westminster. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery Westminster. A visiting hour will be held in the funeral home from 10AM until the time of the service.
