Clintie Mae Cook November 12, 1931 – September 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Clintie Mae Cook, 87, of Hueytown, AL passed away September 5, 2019. She was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. She also worked with children and Sunday School Classes at other churches. Mae was a 1950 Minor High School graduate. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and proud Granna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cook and her sister, Delories (Harris) Whitfield. Mae is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Cook and Cathy (Andy) Self; her grandchildren, Jared Self and Marcy (Kyle) Horton; great grandchildren, Deanna Madden, Georgia Madden and Dawson Horton. Funeral service Monday September 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial following at Highland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Lee Praytor will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
