On April 15, 1967, in Malden, MO, he was united in marriage to Phyllis King. She survives. Mr. Phillips died September 15, 2019, in Dexter, MO, at the age of 82 years. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Phillips of Gideon, MO; 1 son, Mark Phillips of Bernie, MO; 1 daughter, Teresa Phillips of Malden; 1 stepson, Billy McCallister of Malden; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a special niece, Debbie Phillips of Wappapello, MO and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by 1 stepson, Terry McCallister; 4 brothers, Jessie Phillips, Cecil Phillips, Bill Phillips and Wilburn Phillips; 2 sisters, Opal Jungers and Edna Caudill. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M., in the chapel.
