hristie Kay Rollins, age 64 passed Sept.19th, 2019 at her home outside Worden. She was born Jan. 15, 1955 in St. Maries, Id. to Marjean and Melvin Fredericks. She grew up in Idaho and Montana with her three sisters. Christie was in a very traumatic car accident early in life that changed how her life would be lived. She went on to demonstrate that any obstacle could be overcome with the love of family and friends. Christie lived her life for the people around her, especially the children. She loved to crochet and started “Christie’s Crochet Creations”. She created many of her own patterns and blessed all with the unique creations she made. Christie lived for and took immense pride in her grand children. She was preceded in death by her mother (Marjean), father (Melvin), sister (Pamela), and nephew (Aaron). She is survived by her sisters Vickie Claussen, Keri Brackett w (husband Joe). Her son Shane Rollins w (wife Lacey), grandchildren Kayla, Parker and Sydney. A memorial service will be held at Barkemeyer Park in Huntley, Mt. Saturday Sept. 28th at 3 p.m., followed with a potluck at VFW in Worden. In case of inclement weather, the service will be moved to the VFW. Christie would like donations, in lieu of flowers, made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
