Charles’ Obituary REIP, Charles F. – of Bay City, MI and Palm Harbor, FL, age 84, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2019 and 10-11 AM Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in memory of Charles. Charles was born in Flint, MI on November 2, 1934, son of the late Louis and Grace (Nankervis) Reip. He retired from General Motors in 1993 after more than 40 years of service. Charles also served as a Committeeman for UAW Local #651 for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, bowling, watching John Wayne Westerns and he especially loved the Florida sunsets. Charles is survived by 2 sons, Timothy (Sandra) Reip and Andrew (Christina) Reip; sweetheart and companion, Joanne Reinig; 7 grandchildren, Pamela Butler, April (George) Putnam, Amanda (Mark) Holt, Michael (Sheela) Kean, Megan (Justin) Buetow, Jared Mullin and Morgan Reip; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sister, Cynthia Rose; very dear niece, Stephanie Simmington; many other loving family members and friends.
