Cecelia V. Kolb, 93, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her home. She was born July 14, 1926 in Monessen, PA to the late Alice (Panzo) and Andrew Fordanish. Cecelia worked at Carnegie Illinois Steel Company, Kent/Ball Plastic, Walmart, and was also a business owner for many years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and sang in the church choir. Cecelia enjoyed sewing and cooking. Cecelia is survived by her grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Margaret Yursco; brother, Andrew Fordanish; sister, Alice M. Squires; and, Joy and Donnie Steinhauer who cared for her and her loving dog, Jack. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Yursco; second husband, Kenneth Kolb; and son, Joseph E. Yursco. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, September 6, 2019 Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave, Evansville. Visitation will continue from 9:30 am to 10:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1301 S. Green River Rd., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am at the church with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
