Obituary of Carmen J. Covino COVINO – Carmen J. “Carl” Of Hamburg, entered into rest September 27, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Anastasia “Sally” (nee Hawrylczak) Covino; devoted father of James Covino, Carol (Joseph) Deeb, David (Elise) Covino, and Marilynn (Imre)Tischler; loving son of the late Aniello and Carmela Covino; dear brother of Cosmo, and the late Albert, Joseph, John Covino, Justina Masters, and Mary Kurnik; also survived by three grandchildren. Relatives and friends may visit LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Tuesday, from 3-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, 4737 Lakeshore Rd., Hamburg, on Wednesday morning at 9:30 o’clock (please assemble at church). Interment at Lakeside Cemetery. Mr. Covino was an Army Veteran of WWII. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmen’s name to Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
