Betty “Tiny” Mayberry Turner, 58, of Mount Holly, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 7, 1961, in Gaston County, the daughter of the late John Bud Allison and Opal Cole Allison. Betty enjoyed going to the beach and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louella Daniels. Betty is survived by her husband, Keith A. Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Phillip Brame; daughter, Tara Mayberry; stepdaughters, Jessica Spillman, Jennifer Messer, Renee Messer, and Bethany Turner; siblings, Brenda Brymer, Buddy McClellan, Jerry Allison, and Jean Anthony; special cousin, Sherry Harrington; and twelve grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019, 6:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 P.M. prior to the service.
