Barbara Jo Boope’ (Henriksen) age 75, of Algonquin passed away on September 3, 2019. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 23, 1944 the loving daughter of Arne Sr. and Jayne (Betts) Henriksen. Barbara was retired a sales representative for Engineered Components Company in Elgin, IL. She is survived by her beloved brother, Arne (Barbara) Henriksen, Jr.; her dear nephews, Jeff (Amber) Henriksen and AJ (Jenny) Henriksen including her proud niece and nephews, Nicholas, Tommy, Dylan, Devin, Aiden, Alex and Payton Henriksen. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Barbara Jo may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Thursday, September 12, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM until time of an 11:00 AM Celebration of Life Service.
