Funeral services for Willmarie Sallins, 78, of Freeport will be Friday, August 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport with Bishop J.V. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Gulf Coast Cemetery in Clute, Texas. She passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at CHI St. Luke’s Brazosport Medical Center in Lake Jackson, Texas. She loved dancing and cooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her loving memories; son, Charlie Sallins, Freeport; daughters, Charle Storr Myers and Onita Sallins both of Freeport; best friends, Mary Ann Sanders and Naomi White both of Freeport; 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, host of other relatives and friends. Active pallbearers will be Curtis Rogers, Sherman Myers, Ja’Wuan Duran, Juan Duran, Kendrick Jones, Jr. and Ke’Londrick Jones. Visitation will be the same day of the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. There will be no viewing afterward.
