Cole, Jr., age 75 of Cedartown passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019. He was born on March 10, 1944. He was the son of the late Bill Cole and Catherine Blankenship Robinson and Rev. J.C. Robinson. Mr. Cole is survived by his wife Patty Cole; son Tommy Jones (Rhonda); daughter Chrystal Cole (Jeff); stepsons Scott Rice and Douglas Rice; grandchildren Thomas Jones, William Jones, Dalton Jones, Harley Jones, Riley Jones, Cody Billings, Jesse Cole, Tristan Rice, J.D. Rice and Dempsey Rice;great grandchild Wryder Cole; brothers Richard Robinson (Ruth), Ronnie Robinson (Donna), Danny Robinson (Debbie) and Dale Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cole is preceded in death by his father Bill Cole; mother Catherine Blankenship Robinson and stepfather Rev. J.C. Robinson; and aunt Frances Blankenship. The funeral arrangements for Mr. William J. Cole, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at two o’clock in the afternoon from the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Corey Smith and Rev. John Redding officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery. The family of Mr. Cole will receive family and friends on Monday, August 26, 2019 from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tim Holcomb, Donnie Pitman, Josh Thompson, Doug Woods, Carlisle Pointer and Scott Bagley.
