He was born on February 17, 1980, in Sedalia, Missouri, a son of Johnnie Lee and JoDeana (Acton) Kreisel. Growing up, Billy followed his dad to many construction sites, learning to run equipment. He also helped in the salvage yard and fed the pigs and cows. He grew up in Green Ridge and graduated from Green Ridge High School in 1999 and attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia. He moved to Columbia, Tennessee, where he attended ITT Tech and studied civil engineering. While attending school, he worked as a TSA Agent at the Nashville International Airport. He worked for Alexander Backhoe & Dozer for many years. Billy then started Will’s Excavating Service in Columbia, Tennessee. He was a jack-of-all-trades who loved to work, he could fix anything, and he wasn’t afraid of failing. He also loved to ride his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, swimming in the creek, and playing cards, checkers and chess.
