Mr. Waner B. Hardie, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. There will be a family gathering at Mr. Waner B. Hardie’s residence, 211 Linda Drive NE, on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM. Mr. Hardie was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County. He was the son of the late William Beverly and Frances Lucille Beck Hardie, and preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Veal Hardie; and a son, Tracy Hardie. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Korea, retired from the United States Postal Service and transported cars for Five Star Toyota. Mr. Hardie was an avid race car fan of NHRA and NASCAR. He is survived by his daughter, Terry Hardie Smith, of Milledgeville; Son, Alan Hardie of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Tye Smith (Holly), and Hannah Hardie; Great Grandchild to be,Sawyer Louise Smith; sister Reba Hardie Bailey; brother in laws, Jerry Veal and Donald Ray Veal.
