Vito I. Ventrella Of Arlington Heights Vito I. Ventrella was born on August 30, 1927 in Carbonara, Italy to Michele and Serafina (nee Carone) Ventrella. He died Thursday, August 22, 2019. Mr. Ventrella worked as an Engineer for AT & T for over 30 years before retiring. His interests and hobbies included his heritage, his family, gardening, watching soccer, travel and watching FOX news. Vito is survived by his spouse of 64 years Angela Ventrella (nee DeNicolo); his children Tony (Cindy) Ventrella and Sarah (Jack) Hausen; his grandchildren Diana (Chase), Manny (Bridgette), Micaela (Shane), Michael and Briana and his great-grandchildren Wrenna and Dexter; his siblings Domenica (late Vito M.), Vito (late Giovanna), Grace (late Nick ) and Vince (Gina); he was also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son Michael Ventrella. Visitation Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, IL 60004 where prayers will be said Monday, August 26, 2019 at 8:45 am proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines.
