Truman Stanley Dokken, 88, passed away Sunday morning August 25, 2019, at his home in Blue Eye, Missouri. Funeral services for Truman Dokken will 11:00 am Saturday August 31, 2019, at the Linn’s Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Ave, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Time of visitation will be from 9:45 to 10:45 am also on Saturday before the services at the funeral home. Truman Stanley Dokken was born October 28, 1930, at Kensett, Iowa, the son of Wannie (Elam) Dokken and George Melvin Dokken. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Leff on September 9, 1956, until her passing in 1984. To this union two daughters were born Kathy and Karen. He served in the United States Army from 1952 until 1960. He worked at the American Crystal Sugar Mill, Mason City, Iowa for many years, and then farmed in Buckeye, Iowa until he retired in 1995. In 1996, he was united in marriage to Donna Rose (Kratt) Hager on April 12, 1996 and they moved to Medford, Minnesota until 2004, when they moved to Blue Eye, Missouri. He enjoyed traveling to other states, and touring the local area in his golf cart. Truman also mowed lawns and enjoyed working on his equipment. Truman is survived by his wife, Donna Dokken, daughters Kathy (Ivan) Reimer, Karen Crowley, grandchildren Jessie Crowley, Emily Crowley, John Reimer, Jack Reimer, and Jesse Reimer. Also survived by step-children Timothy (Kathy) Hager, Tamara Wetzel, Teresa (Scott) Krampitz, Tonette (Scott) Webster, Thomas (Mary P) Hager, 12 step-children, 13 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren. Also, survived by brothers Donald Dokken, George Dokken, Rueben Dokken, sister Juanita Bolinger, sisters-in-laws Arlis Dokken, Karen Dokken, Marilyn (Bill) Hartman, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Marjorie, brothers James, Wilford, Leslie and Sam Dokken; sisters Mary Klinge, Hazel Erickson, and Barbara Dokken; brothers-in-law Merle Klinge, Ronnie Erickson, Dutch Bolinger; sisters-in-law Donna Dokken, Vicky Dokken, LaVonne Dokken; son-in-law Dwaine Wetzel; grandchild Mary Sue Krippner; niece Robin Engelby. favorite_border Donations Pledges
