Troy James Roderick of Cushing, Oklahoma May 9, 1965 – July 27, 2019 Troy James Roderick, a Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Ozark Campground in Jasper, Arkansas after an accidental fall at the age of 54. Wake services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on August 2, 2019 at the home of Travis Fisher in Mannford. A Celebration of Troy’s life will be held at J.B.’s Pub in Mannford on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma. Troy was born on May 9, 1965 in Champaign, Illinois to Thomas and Zano Roderick. He grew up in Torrence, California, graduating from Torrence High School in 1983. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served for four years. After returning from the service, he lived all over. He became a long haul truck driver working for JBS, Schuster and at the present Sam Ray Trucking. Troy married the love of his life Dessie Radford on April 23, 2016 in North Carolina. They drove a truck together, traveling all over the United States. In his spare time, he loved riding his motorcycle and being with his family. Troy is survived by his wife Dessie of the home, Tori Roderick Jackson of West Virginia, Tony Roderick of Denver, CO., Brianna Radford of Memphis, TN., Cody Radford of Memphis, TN., and Ezekiel Radford of Broken Arrow, brothers Jeff Radford, David O’ Ryan and Charles Radford Jr. , sister Sara Callahan, pops Chuck Radford and numerous grandchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad and step mom, two uncles.
