Thomas was born on September 7, 1916 in Houston, Mississippi. He married the former Jessie L. Townsend. At the time of his death, Thomas was survived by his wife, Jessie Pulliam; seven daughters, Christine, Essie, Jo Ann, Earlene, Ollie, Patricia, and Denise; five sons, Willie, Michael, Carlton, Thomas, and LaMar. Thomas was buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky on August 1, 1985. Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect Street, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511 is assisting the family with having Thomas disinterred from Greenwood Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky, and transporting his remains to Beloit, Wisconsin where they will be interred next to his wife at Eastlawn Cemetery.
